JekerJazz & more
We’ve been a little quiet on the website for a while, but what a wonderful musical summer we’ve had! And now… now we’re simply carrying on with Jekerjazz.
First of all:

Because of JekerJazz, the Hurricane Brass Band will be parading through Maastricht’s city centre on Saturday, October 10, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, making stops between the cafés ‘t Pothuiske, De Knijnspiep, In de Tenne Kan and the Vogelstruys. Just enjoying the freedom of making music in the streets, in true New Orleans style.
We spent a long weekend performing at the History Vehicles event in Lasauvage (Luxembourg), right in the heart of the village among the vintage cars. It was a fantastic weekend shared with gendarmes (including Louis de Funès), nuns, dance groups, classic car enthusiasts, and many other friendly and delightful people.
Below is a small preview, but we’ll certainly return to it in a future post, and perhaps even in Lasauvage itself!

In addition, several short films by filmmaker Peter Brouwers, recorded at the Beyart in Maastricht, will be featured on this website soon. So be sure to keep following us here and on our Facebook page for updates!
